Youth Shotgun Shooting Academy (YSSA)
The Academy is organized as a publicly supported Educational Organization under Section 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code. It exists to support local youth shotgun teams with events, facilities, supplies, and equipment including, but not limited to the following:
- Fund raising and grants
- Shooting tournaments and events
- Coaching and shooting clinics
- Hunter safety training
- Facilities improvements
- Safety equipment and apparel
- Targets and ammunition
◊ Individual youth and team participation in the YSSA is voluntary, not mandatory.
◊ Parents and coaches of shooters are asked to volunteer to sit on the YSSA Committee which advises the Academy's Trustees on individual and team needs and fund-raising priorities.

Our Mission
To provide a safe, educational environment where young shooters can develop skills in shotgun sports, learn proper safety protocols, and grow into responsible sportsmen and sportswomen. We aim to instill values of discipline, focus, and teamwork while fostering a lifelong appreciation for conservation and outdoor sports.
